Dream of a girl

By Malia Islam Pushpita, year 6, Forest

Dream of a girl

Soon l am going to talk about a girl’s dream. The girl’s name is Tasnim. She’s a good girl. She has a lot of good habits, such as always keeping quiet. She is very helpful. But she has a bad habit and that is, she disturbs her elder sister as much as she can. She likes to go to school, play with her friends. and go to her grandmother’s house.

One Friday night, she and her elder sister decided to spend the weekend with their grandmother at her house. After making this decision they went to sleep.

The next day they woke up early in the morning and got ready to go to their grandmother’s house. Whilst they were having their lunch, someone knocked on the door. Tasnim went outside to see who it was. When she opened the door, she saw a little bird outside. She was shocked when the bird said,”Hi!” Then the bird said,”Why you don’t reply?” Then Tasnim asked him,”How can you talk like us?” He replied,”I can do it, but I don’t know how can I do it. Then he told her,” Do you want to play with me?” Tasnim replied,” Ok, what you like to play with me?” Then the bird said,”Thank you. Now please close your eyes and count to 40.” She replied,”Forty forty?” He said,”Correct, now please start counting.” Then she close her eyes and started counting and when she said the last number, her sister asked her,”Why have you been sleeping? We need to go to our grandmother’s house. She is waiting for us.”

Then she understood it was a dream. Then she woke up and got ready to go to their grandmother’s house.

They enjoyed their weekend with their grandmother at her house. But she still thinking about the bird.
