Climbing the wall

One upon a time there was a land called Vingardiya. Vingardiya was a strange place because it had a good side and a bad side. On the good side there were fields, villages and markets, but on the bad side it was all dark ,misty and gloomy. Or so legend tells, as no-one from the good side had been there in 600 years, and the two sides were split by a massive wall.

Now, on the good side there was a little boy called Sanchez. He was always wanting to do something exciting.

One day he asked his Mum,"Mother, what is on the other side of the wall?".

His mother went a little pale and said,"That's none of your business, now get outside!".

Sanchez was suspicious, why had his Mum not told him a thing about the other side? So he went to ask "Wise Bob", the oldest and wisest in Vingardiya.

"What's on the other side of the wall?", Sanche asked.

"I can't tell you that."

"Why not?"

"Because I don't know."

Now Sanchez was really suspicious, if Wise Bob didn't know, no-one did.

So he decided to go over and explore. He got a bag and packed it with some food, water and possessions. He also took some ropes and flints as you never know when that stuff will come in handy.

Late that night he crept out of bed and ran down the street. He was just about to climb the wall when he thought about taking his best friend Lois. So he woke Lois up by throwing stones at his window and then the two of them set off.

Getting over the wall was extremely difficult, but somehow they did it.

"I wonder what perils await us now", whispered Sanchez...
