What I thought to be a normal day!!

By Freya Riou, year 9, Les Beaucamps School

“Yawn, where am I?”

I had woken up in the most amazing room that I could ever want. The best thing about it was the colour, my favourite, TURQUOISE! I walked outside around a magical, majestic, marvellous tree to see that everyone's house was a different colour. But then I saw this grey dull house on top of a cold, rainy hill.

All of a sudden a rainbow coloured unicorn came galloping up to me and told me in his deep voice, “Hello I'm Bob. I'm here to tell you your task.”

“My task?” I asked.

“Yes, you see, that boy staring down from that hill is really depressed and we can't have depressed people in this magical land, can we?” Bob told Rose.

“Wait, you want me to kill him?” I shrieked.

“Oh no, you need to make him happy again,” replied bob.

The last few weeks have been the best. I have made a few friends called Poppy and Daisy. Christian and I have got quite close, I wish I could tell him how I feel…

The next morning I ran up to what is now a bright red house and knocked on the door. He opened it and told me he needed to speak to me.

“I love you Rose, you have helped me so much,” Christian explained shivering in fright to see what I say.

“I love you, too…”

We took a nice walk to the park. On our way home we were crossing a road and the worst thing happened. I got hit by a yellow car. BANG!

When I awoke I knew I was in the real world again, but something had changed. Christian was sitting next to me but he looked nicer and kinder than ever before.

“Hey, you ok?” he asked gently.
